Pendulums

The pendulum is a way to take latent psychic abilities from your mind and bring them outward in the physical manifestation of a pendulum. Pendulums can be made from any material, be it wood, metal or crystal. Many people prefer a clear quartz crystal but success will come with any material used. A pendulum can be made by taking a clothes button, threading a bit of cotton through it and letting it swing left and right.

The pendulum is a quite basic instrument best used for simple yes/no answers to precise questions. It is believed to work by connecting you with the universe or at least with hidden energies that permiate the universe and allow answers to be gained of a prophetic nature. By asking a question you are actually accessing your own subconscious mind and universal energies that when combined allow the pendulum itself to swing in a clock wise or anticlockwise direction, or the pendulum may swing left or right. Before using the pendulum you decided clearly in your mind what left or right means (yes/no) or what the direction signifies (clockwise is yes, anticlockwise is no).
